Don’t let a heart CT scan (or the CT machine) intimidate you. It’s a noninvasive test that gives your healthcare provider valuable information about what’s going on with your heart and associated structures.

CT Heart scans are recommended for individuals as young as 35 when two or more of the risk factors below are present, for men over 45, or women over 55 when one or more risk factor is present.
