Strong families communicate about good and bad things. We celebrate together when times are good and talk about problems when times are tough. Encouraging regular mammograms is one way of keeping those we care about around for a long time. The fact is that mammograms don’t prevent breast cancer, but they can save lives by finding breast cancer as early as possible.

We encourage every woman age 40 and older to get an annual mammogram. If your mammogram shows an abnormality, we may recommend additional diagnostic testing, including Breast biopsy, Breast MRI, Breast Ultrasound or Automated Breast Ultrasound, ABUS.

While you may not have symptoms or a family history of breast cancer, a mammogram can see changes to your breast tissue as small as grains of sand, making it the best tool for detecting cancer as early as possible.
